Parity for Disability is dedicated to transforming lives. Without the right support, the life of a person with multiple disabilities becomes limited and lonely. Meaningful social contact, learning, achieving and experiencing the world all become impossible.
Parity’s services are there for people with multiple disabilities, their families and carers.
Parity for Disability’s Services
The people who use our learning-based day services continue their development through all kinds of academic, social, living and recreational activities. They spend time at one of the three Parity bases in Farnborough, Camberley and Mytchett, and also out in the local community and wider world. A high ratio of trained, caring staff supports each person in everything they do. A qualified speech and language therapist and physiotherapist implement programmes for individual students.
The Teenagers’ Activity Scheme runs during the Easter and Summer holidays. The emphasis of the scheme is on fun, giving teens with multiple disabilities the opportunity to do the sorts of things other young people take for granted.
Our State Registered music therapists work with adults and children in a variety of settings including schools and colleges, day services, residential and family homes.
