Parity for Disability’s supporters keep the charity going. Our much-needed services simply couldn’t survive without you.
Whether you’d like to volunteer, donate, raise funds, or find out about working for Parity, we want to hear from you.
Build skills and learn new ones, grow your social circle, challenge yourself and be a part of a great local organisation.
In 2016 Parity is marking its 25th year of providing specialist services for people with multiple disabilities.
Make this year amazing for you and for the people relying on a vital local charity.
Spotlight on Your Support
The Waitrose Music Matters programme has agreed to fund a ‘soundbeam workshop’ for students at Parity’s three day services. Students, staff, family carers and supporters will come together to enjoy an interactive session of music using the amazing soundbeam equipment, led by a soundbeam specialist who will train students and staff to put on an uplifting, fun-filled musical performance. Students can move just an arm through a light beam or press a pad and create a saxophone melody, drum beats, sci fi sounds and more. Thank you to our fantastic fundraising volunteer Linda Anderson for her detailed and dedicated work resulting in a successful funding application!
