get involved

Parity for Disability’s supporters keep the charity going. Our much-needed services simply couldn’t survive without you.

Whether you’d like to volunteer, donate, raise funds, or find out about working for Parity, we want to hear from you.

Shops

“The quality of the items is excellent. You can always find something. The staff are so friendly and they know how to help. I think it’s a lovely, lovely shop.” –

Stella, a satisfied North Camp shop customer.

Parity for Disability’s three shops are busy, friendly places. They carry a huge range of clothing, books, ornaments, gifts and much more.

Everything is donated by the public, we do not sell bought-in goods. Your donated items are all put to use (sorry, we can’t take electricals), either being sold or recycled.

We also accept mobile phones.

Even damaged clothing, belts, bags and shoes can be recycled, bringing in additional income for the shops. Just put any damaged items in a separate bag and mark it ‘Rag’ (though we can’t recycle oily/cleaning rags).

A Parity for Disability volunteer is available to collect items from your home or office if needed, just contact us on 01252 375581.
