Volunteers Week 2020 is a chance to recognise those who’ve been helping Parity adapt to the situation, and, also very important, let our more than 100 Parity volunteers know that we value them and can’t wait till they can get involved once again.
Today we’re thanking two amazing volunteers who during the past couple of months have navigated the staff team through a variety of technical challenges.
Early on as we adapted our services, Paul Jarman soothed teething troubles as we set up Parity TV videos and quiz games on the website.
Meanwhile, over several weeks Corinne Penhaligon has helped Services Manager Mandy Gray to develop our online training so that all Parity staff can keep their skills up to date.
“They’ve ensured the continuation of much needed services for the students,” says Mandy, “and assisted with the learning development of day service staff on furlough.”
Our sincere thanks to Paul and Corinne for your valuable help in keeping Parity’s services running smoothly.
