How to Hold a PariTea

PariTea for Disability

A PariTea is a great way to raise funds and awareness of Parity’s services for adults with multiple disabilities – all whilst having a cup of tea and cake. You’ll be helping ensure all our students stay active and connected through our vital services.

Support Parity for Disability during the winter months by holding a PariTea either virtually, with friends and family or in the office with colleagues. It’s also a great way to interact with your local community and even meet new people.

However you choose to hold a PariTea there are many ways in which you can make it a success and make a difference!

Download the following resources to help make your PariTea run smoothly!

Don’t forget to…

  • Set up your own fundraising page at www.justgiving.com and include this within your invitations for those supporters that are unable to attend but may still want to make a donation.
  • Remember to ask your attendees if they have any allergies. Please check our FAQ’s for more information on health and safety.
  • If you have social media – make sure all of your followers and friends can see. If you would like more people to attend ask people share the invite too.
  • After your event make sure to thank all your attendees and let them know how much was raised.

If you have any questions at all please contact Fleur on fleur.powell@parityfordisability.org.uk or call 01252 375 581.

Thank you for your support!
