Parity for Disability continues to expand and improve our services for people with profound and multiple disabilities. Our philosophy of excellence in specialist support – combining highly trained staff, suitably adapted space, accessible transport and equipment, proactive community engagement, and constant feedback from students and families – remains at the heart of everything we do.
New Day Service Site Now Open
We are delighted to announce that we have opened a new permanent site in Farnborough to replace the Camberley day service previously operating from rooms in a church hall. This exciting development means the service is run from a dedicated, accessible, and better-equipped space specifically designed to meet the needs of the people we support.
Moving to this new site has allowed us to improve facilities, increase capacity, and deliver an even more fulfilling and inclusive day service experience for the adults who rely on Parity for Disability.
Fundraising for Refurbishment and Relocation
A huge thank you to everyone who helped raise funds to cover the costs of refurbishing the new building and supporting the relocation! We are incredibly grateful for all the donations, grants and support from individuals, businesses, community groups and trust funders that have helped bring this project to life. Your contributions directly impact the lives of the people who attend our day services, helping create a space that is fully accessible and tailored to their needs.
The new site represents a major step forward, providing:
- Generous indoor space, including accessible activity areas, quiet/private rooms, office space, kitchens and accessible personal care facilities.
- Access to nearby parks and outdoor areas
- Space for minibus pick-up/drop-off.
- Parking and transport access, particularly space to support accessible vehicle parking.
- A long-term lease to ensure stability for our services in the community.
