Visilift Arrives at Mytchett Service

How to keep a multi-household lockdown competition going from the day service, with friends still at home? Students returning to Parity’s Mytchett site solved the problem using new state-of-the-art technology.

The interactive ‘Visilift’ screen arrived at the service in early March, thanks to an award from the People’s Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

This meant the hotly-contested Strawberry Cup championship hosted by Senior Keyworker Amy Gooderham (pictured above, left with student Matt, a keen contender for the Cup) could go on and students still using the Parity outreach service could keep taking part from their individual homes.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Zoom In

Amy and Matt took things a step further when they hosted an ambitious multi-site quiz, this time with students and staff from the Farnborough, Camberley and Mytchett services (part of the Farnborough team, who played over two screens, are pictured below left), plus special guests Sophie (below, right) and Lisa from Enterprise Rent-A-Car Aldershot.

Congratulations to everyone for making a big success of the Famous Cars quiz in honour of our supporters Enterprise. We’re delighted that Sophie and Lisa said they’d like to come back and join us again!
