NAC – Wellbeing for People with Severe and Profound Intellectual Disabilities

NAC is a community interest company that exists to support the emotional wellbeing of people with severe and profound intellectual disabilities. NAC provides information and training that is evidence-based and built on key values.

NAC has been running workshops on Trauma, COVID and Emotional Wellbeing.

The website also offers detailed guidance on wellbeing activities for people with severe and profound intellectual disabilities.

The Founder Director of NAC is Dr Julie Calveley. Julie is a registered learning disability nurse with over 25 years of experience and qualifications and training in psychology, mental health, behaviour, neuroscience and trauma.

She is the author of a number of publications and book chapters in the field of learning disabilities.
