Legal trainer and consultant Belinda Schwehr provides specialist advice around the Care Act to people affected by decisions and processes relating to health and social care.
In 2018 Belinda founded the Centre for Adults’ Social Care – Advice, Information and Dispute Resolution (CASCAIDr), a health and social care legal advice charity that can be found at www.CASCAIDr.org.uk. The aim of the charity is the upholding of adults’ Health and Care Act rights.
On the CASCAIDr site, there’s a referral form under the Free Advice tab on the top bar menu, if you want to see if you could get free advice.
Belinda also organises training and webinars for forums, groups, providers and staff needing clarity on issues relating to health and social care law.
Belinda’s blog, Schwehr on Care – find it at www.schwehroncare.co.uk – supports ‘defensible decision-making under the new Care Act in England.’ The material on the blog is opinion and not intended to be legal advice, but is a further source of information.
