You will need:
- Smooth stones in various sizes
- Acrylic paint or Felt Tips
- Water container
- Small paint brushes
- Clear nail varnish
- An old t-shirt (to keep you clean)
Collect a range of different sized and shaped stones, perhaps on your daily walk, and paint them.
You can paint a design or pattern, or maybe your favourite thing such as a cat!
As an alternative to paint you can use felt tip pens.
Once the stones are painted and dry, they can be varnished with clear nail varnish.
They can then be displayed, given as gifts or used as a paper weight.
