Settings Supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities
We have a great deal of experience working with adults with learning disabilities within residential homes, day service provision, in community settings and in individual homes.
Adults with learning disabilities work with our music therapists to promote communication. They engage and interact, through music, in a meaningful way.
When someone is better able to express themselves and make needs and wishes known, this leads to improved mental health and motivation to participate.
Our music therapists have also helped clients with learning disabilities work through emotional difficulties and changes in circumstance such as bereavement.
